UNDERSTANDING THE PROCEDURES

WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is a dedicated form of cosmetic tattooing designed to mimic the appearance of natural brow hairs. Using a specialized manual hand tool equipped with a cluster of fine, aligned pins, the artist gently creates ultrafine, shallow hair strokes in the upper layers of the skin to deposit pigment. When performed by a highly skilled and experienced artist, microblading yields beautiful, crisp, and incredibly natural results. However, it requires a very specific skin type to heal beautifully over time.

WHAT ARE NANO BROWS?

Nano Brows (also known as Digital Hair Strokes) represent a modern, high-precision evolution of eyebrow tattooing. Instead of a manual tool, this technique utilizes a specialized cosmetic tattooing device fitted with a single, microscopic needle. The machine precisely deposits pigment into the skin using a gentle, rapid tapping motion to create ultra-fine, flexible hair strokes. Because it places pigment dot-by-dot rather than a continuous stroke, it is exceptionally gentle on the skin tissue.

Both techniques are artistry-driven methods designed to give you beautiful, realistic brow hairs. The main differences lie in the tools used, how the pigment is placed, and how different skin types accept them:

At the end of the day, microblading produces spectacular results when done by the right high-skill artist, but not everyone is an ideal candidate for the technique. Nano brows offer a highly adaptable alternative that works beautifully on almost any skin type.

WHY ARE NANO BROWS A HIGHER INVESTMENT THAN MICROBLADING?

Nano Brows represent the absolute pinnacle of modern cosmetic tattooing, and the premium pricing reflects the elite level of technology, advanced specialization, and meticulous artistry required to execute it.

Unlike traditional methods, the Nano technique demands a master-level command of advanced skin anatomy, dermal depth control, and intricate color theory. An expert Nano artist must flawlessly analyze the unique undertones of your skin to custom-blend pigments that heal beautifully and stay true to color over time, without shifting or turning ash. The artist then uses a specialized digital device to carefully deposit microscopic pixels of pigment dot-by-dot, weaving seamless, fluid hair strokes that perfectly mimic natural hair growth.

Because this high-level discipline takes years of advanced clinical training to master and requires an extraordinary, hyper-focused eye for detail during your session, the investment directly reflects the unmatched precision, safety, and sophisticated longevity of the results. APPOINTMENT PREPARATION & SAFETY

WHAT SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

To ensure minimal skin sensitivity and optimal pigment retention, please strictly adhere to the following pre-care guidelines:

• 4 Weeks Before: Discontinue using Retinols, Retin-A, or any intensive anti-aging products around the brow
• 4 Weeks Before: Avoid intense sun exposure, tanning beds, or
• 4 Weeks Before: Do not undergo any laser treatments, chemical peels, or intensive resurfacing facials near the brow area.
• 48 Hours Before: Do not consume alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, or any blood-thinning
• 24 Hours Before: Avoid caffeine (coffee, energy drinks, pre-workouts, and certain teas) as it increases blood flow and skin sensitivity.
• 1 Week Before: Discontinue use of fish oil, Vitamin E, and primrose oil

SHOULD I SHAVE OR TWEEZE MY EYEBROW BEFORE THE PROCEDURE?

No. Please leave your natural brow hair completely alone. We prefer that you do not shave, tweeze, wax, or thread your brows for at least one week prior to your appointment. Our goal is to keep as much of your natural hair as possible. We will map your new shape around your existing hair growth and groom any stray hairs outside the final design during your appointment.

SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT BEFORE OR AFTER SURGERY NEAR THE EYEBROW AREA?

You must schedule your brow appointment AFTER your surgery, not before. Procedures like facelifts, brow lifts, or eyelid surgery alter the skin’s tension, positioning, and facial symmetry.

We require clients to wait a minimum of 3 to 6 months post-surgery (and secure medical clearance from their surgeon) before getting cosmetic tattoos. This ensures the facial muscles and skin have completely settled into their final position.

AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE? ARE THERE CONTRAINDICATIONS?

While cosmetic tattooing is safe for most people, you are not an eligible candidate if you are currently pregnant or nursing, undergoing active chemotherapy, taking prescribed blood thinners, or taking oral acne medications like Accutane (you must be off Accutane for a full 12 months before booking).

Additionally, individuals who suffer from blood-transmittable conditions—such as HIV, Hepatitis, or Tuberculosis

—are not candidates for this procedure due to safety and healing protocols.

THE PROCESS & MAPPING

HOW DO WE DECIDE ON THE BROW SHAPE?

Brow shaping is a collaborative, customized process based entirely on your unique anatomy. We use a precise technique called brow mapping, incorporating the Golden Ratio—a mathematical symmetry principle used to find the perfect proportions for your face shape. Using your bone structure, nose placement, and orbital bone, we balance your features beautifully.

We will never begin the tattooing process until we have drawn the shape on your skin and you have given your 100% enthusiastic approval on the symmetry and design.

IS IT PAINFUL?

Most clients describe the sensation as a minor scratching feeling or light pressure. We prioritize your comfort and apply a highly effective, medical-grade topical anesthetic (numbing cream) before and during the procedure to minimize discomfort. Many of our clients actually fall asleep during the session.

HEALING & AFTERCARE

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL?

The superficial healing process takes approximately 7 to 14 days, during which you may experience minor redness, mild swelling, and light flaking. However, the skin beneath the surface takes a full 4 to 6 weeks to completely regenerate and lock in the true color and depth of the pigment.

CAN I GO BACK TO MY WORKOUT ROUTINE AFTER THE PROCEDURE?

No. You must completely avoid strenuous exercise and heavy sweating for 2 weeks (14 days) post-procedure. Sweat contains salt and bacteria; the body’s natural salt production will prematurely fade, blur, or pull the pigment right out of the healing skin, while bacteria significantly increases the risk of infection. Light walking that does not induce facial sweat is fine.

WHAT SHOULD I BE AWARE OF AFTER THE PROCEDURE?

During the initial healing window, you must strictly protect your open skin:

• No water directly on the brows: Avoid submerging your face in water, heavy splashing, or long, steamy
• No picking or scratching: Allow any flaking skin to fall off naturally. Picking will pull pigment out and cause patchy healing or scarring.
• No makeup or skincare: Do not apply any makeup, cleansers, or anti-aging creams directly on or around the
• Avoid high-risk environments: This includes saunas, swimming pools, oceans, hot tubs, and heavy dust/dirt.

MAINTENANCE & GUEST POLICIES

IS THE TOUCH-UP A MUST, AND WHEN SHOULD THAT BE?

Yes, cosmetic tattooing is a two-step process. Your initial session lays the foundation, while the Perfecting Session (scheduled 4 to 6 weeks later) fills in any areas that faded during healing, adjusts color depth, and refines the shape. Without this follow-up, your brows may heal unevenly and fade significantly faster.

HOW LONG DO NANO BROWS LAST?

Nano Brows typically last between 1.5 to 3 years, depending on your skin type, metabolism, and lifestyle. Because it is a semi-permanent procedure, the pigment will gradually fade over time. We recommend booking a color boost appointment every 12 to 24 months to keep your brow strokes looking crisp and vibrant.

CAN I BRING MY FAMILY, KIDS, FRIENDS, OR PETS ALONG TO MY APPOINTMENT?

To maintain a sterile and hygienic environment, ensure compliance with health department regulations, and guarantee the absolute focus of your artist, we enforce a strict solo-guest policy.

Absolutely NO companions, children, friends, family members, or pets are allowed in the studio during your appointment—with no exceptions. Please arrange for childcare and transportation accordingly, and arrive to your appointment completely alone so we can provide a peaceful, distraction-free environment for your service.

WHAT ARE THE HEALING RESULTS?

Your final results are extremely dependent on how your skin heals and will vary with each individual guest. Factors such as skin type, cellular turnover, lifestyle, sun exposure, existing brow hair, underlying bone structure, daily medications, and strict adherence to aftercare instructions directly impact your retention.

Because everyone’s skin accepts and retains pigment differently, specific color requests or exact results cannot be guaranteed. We provide identical, meticulous service to every client, but your body’s biological response ultimately dictates the final retention.

IMPORTANT BOOKING POLICIES

• No Guarantees on Makeup Replacement: While cosmetic tattooing dramatically enhances your features and reduces morning routines, we cannot guarantee that this procedure will completely replace the use of brow makeup, especially for bolder makeup styles.
• Session Limitations: While most guests achieve beautiful results within two sessions (Initial + Perfecting Session), additional touch-up sessions may be required to achieve your desired density due to uncontrollable healing variables.
• Refund Policy: Please read all studio policies thoroughly prior to booking. Because cosmetic procedures are an art form tailored to living tissue, all services provided are strictly non-refundable.
